    Description

You are bidding on a large, very rare original antique print from an 1870s French illustrated journal.
It depicts a beautiful Brittany Spaniel named Lola. The Brittany Spaniel (also called the Brittany, Brittany Wiegref, Epagneul Breton, French Brittany) is an old French breed. It is described as a Spaniel of Rouergue, which I believe to be today's brittanies. This was almost 30 years before the first Brittany was shown in 1900. But it looks remarkably like today's dog!
It is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture measures about 8.5 x 5.5 inches, with a French caption below.
The page is in excellent condition for its age.
There is text/photos on the back of the print.
See scan for an accurate view of the condition.
This is GENUINE antique/vintage item. It is not a modern reproduction.
