A lay-down crystal scent flask with sterling silver lid.
Slightly flattened conical-form bottle.
Decorated with geometric design.
Sterling silver threaded lid decorated with repousse scrolls.

A small chip at the bottom of the base,

Hallmarked to the lid:
maker initials "CM" for Charles May;
"Lion passant" for British sterling silver;
script Gothic date letter "O" for 1888;
"Anchor" for city of Birmingham.
All marks are tiny but readable.
Made in Birmingham, England, ca.1888
