This card was purchased in London, England by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this unusual EMBOSSED vintage postcard is an art portrait of a gorgeous Saint Bernard.  Under the dog is the following caption:  "
St Bernard, Just a line to hope you're well
".
On the back is no handwriting. There is a manufacturer's message that indicates that the postcard was originally printed in Germany as part of a London Series.
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard.  There are some signs of wear as shown above but the postcard is still easy to see and appreciate!
It is gorgeous!
