This card was purchased in Amsterdam, Netherlands by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this rare vintage postcard is the embossed portrait of a gorgeous Saint Bernard holding an embossed basket of violets. Below the portrait is a message in Dutch that translates to:  "HAPPY NEW YEAR".
On the back is a handwritten message in Dutch, an address in the Netherlands, and a 1910 postmark.   The postcard was originally made in the Netherlands.
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard.  There are some signs of wear as shown above but the postcard is still easy to see and appreciate!
