This card was purchased in Amsterdam, Netherlands by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this vintage sepia postcard is a real photo portrait of 8 Saint Bernard puppies.   The pose is heartwarming!  Under the portrait is a caption in French that translates to:  "Young Dogs that are Saint Bernards".
On the back is a pencilled message in Dutch, an address in the Netherlands, and a 1928 Lausanne, Switzerland postmark.   The postcard was originally made in Switzerland.
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard.  There are some signs of wear as shown above but the postcard is still easy to see and appreciate!  It is delightful!
